Agronomists are plant and soil scientists who work on growing farm crops. They look for ways of increasing farm production and work with the farmers to introduce scientific ways to improve the yield. Most agronomists are employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Indian Affairs, and state or local government agencies. Agricultural colleges, agricultural service companies, or firms that offer loans for agricultural lands also employ agronomists. Apart from that agronomists are also self-employed consultants.
All agronomists need a logo design to represent their profession and to define the scope of their work activity. This way they can sell their services better. The best way to describe the scope of work activity is in small symbols and few words. In case, the Agronomist has a specific focus on wheat production, the logo design will be more effective with an illustration of wheat. Likewise, if the focus is on crop diseases, relevant symbols need to be used in the agronomist logo design.

A better impact can be drawn with the use of friendly fonts. The sans-serif fonts will be better as compared to the formal serif fonts. The use of a tag line will help an agronomist define the work scope in an effective manner. The catchy words of the tagline should be focused on the specific area of work such as disease control, wheat, cotton and so forth.
Both the illustration and the fonts should be fused together seamlessly with ample white space for the eyes to rest on.
